Unlocking the late flagellar gene synthesis in Pseudomonas aeruginosa
A recent study by Sheenu et al., published in Nucleic Acids Research from Dr. Deepti’s lab, captures the atomic-level details of the flagellar sigma factor, FliA (also known as s28) in complex with the anti-sigma factor, FlgM at a resolution of 1.95 Å. The study also describes the single-particle cryo-EM structure of the s28-RNAP-DNA complex at a resolution of 3.4 Å from Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
