Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad in collaboration with the Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance plans to equip science students with skills that help them succeed in their future careers. The shift from traditional science careers in research and academia is now the norm. In every science-relevant career, some basic skills must be learnt to ensure success. Some of these skills are clear scientific fundamentals, good writing skills, and clear and effective communication strategies.

This workshop aims to train and equip life science students with effective science writing skills to communicate their discoveries and expose them to different careers now available to science graduates.

The 2-day workshop will focus on providing hands-on training on diverse aspects of academic writing and will include round-table discussions and feedback on research proposals by experts/mentors. The workshop is designed to provide participants information on the various available science career options and enable interactions with industry experts.
